Woburn Man Involved in Two Accidents in Maine
The 21-year-old Woburn man suffered life-threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old Woburn man was involved in two accidents in Maine, less than a mile apart from each other.
According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department, Shane Faulkingham, 21, of Woburn, fled the scene of a crash in Harrison, Maine before causing a head-on collision in Naples Friday night.

According to the Bangor Daily News, Faulkingham's Toyota Camry crossed the road's centerline and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Faulkingham and the other driver, 55-year-old Catherine Carter of Harrison, were extricated from their vehicles with life-threatening injuries, reported the Associated Press.

Carter was med-flighted to the Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, as was Faulkingham, after officials first transferred the Woburn man to Bridgton Hospital. Randall Parker, 20, of Woburn, was also taken to Bridgton with serious injuries.
According to reports, the crashes are under investigation, but officials believe speed and alcohol may be factors.
