Woburn School Committee OKs Solar Panels

The Woburn School Committee recently approved the installation of solar panels on several buildings and properties, according to published reports.

Solar panels were approved for five educational properties across the city, according to a report from the Daily Times Chronicle.

According to the report, the properties which would receive the solar panels include:

• The Roof of the O’Brien Ice Rink and the parking lot surrounding the Joyce Middle School
• The roof and parking lot of Woburn Memorial High School
• The Roof and parking lot of Kennedy Middle School
• The roof and parking lot of Reeves Elementary School
• A vacant portion of the Shamrock School campus
