WOBURN, MA — Lord Hobo Brewing Company plans to nearly triple the size of its Woburn tap room from 180 to 500 seats. The company also plans to open a restaurant and tap room in the Seaport District that will be one of Boston's biggest eateries and has signed a letter of intent to open another tap room in New York City. The Woburn-based craft beer maker is on pace to sell 50,000 barrels this year, up from 37,000 last year.

"We’re on fire this year," Lord Hobo founder Daniel Lanigan told Brewbound, which first reported this story. The company eliminated eight positions last week but has added a total of 40 workers over the past 12 months. The Seaport location, which has been in the works for over a year, will seat about 800 people.
