WUBurger Gets New Ownership, Otherwise Unchanged For Now
The new ownership will continue to operate as WUBurger, at least initially.
WOBURN, MA — Woburn's WUBurger has a new owner but will remain WUburger at least for now, after a permit modification was approved by City Council Feb. 1.
The new owner is J&C Hospitality, attorney Joseph Tarby told the council, as first reported by the Daily Times Chronicle. The new owner needed permission from the council to change the name on the special permit.
WUBurger is located at 880 Main Street, Woburn.

Tarby said the restaurant will remain WUBurger at least for now, but J&C Hospitality "may change the menu and name in the future," according to the meeting minutes. It will remain a family restaurant.
The burger joint was first opened in 2012.
