Bank of America Museum Program Offers Weekend General Access to Cardholders

Free, general access is available Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 as well as the first, full weekend of each month in 2016.

Bank of America’s Museums on Us offers free weekend general access to Bank of America and Merrill Lynch credit and debit cardholders in Boston. The program’s mobile site gives customers access to the full list of markets and museums on the go.

General access is available Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 as well as the first, full weekend of each month in 2016. The program will be held at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate, the Museum of African-American History, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MIT Museum, Berkshire Museum and Worcester Art Museum.

Bank of America believes the arts have a unique ability to connect people and communities and help local economies thrive. Through Museums on Us, Bank of America is able to provide its customers with free access to artistic and cultural experiences across the U.S. at some of the nation’s most celebrated cultural institutions, ranging from art, children’s and history museums to aquariums and science centers.

Presenting one's Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card, along with a photo ID, allows free, general admission to any participating institution on the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. This is applicable for cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. The program excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows. This offer is not to be combined with other offers.

Bank of America is offering its customers a way to kick off the summer season with free admission to local museums with Museums on Us. The program is giving bank credit and debit cardholders free general admission to some of America’s favorite museums and cultural institutions, including the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Dixon Gallery and Gardens in Memphis, International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, R.I. and Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami.
