Calling All Artists: Bookmark Design Contest At Worcester Public Library

WORCESTER, MA — You can test your artistic ability with this local contest.

The Worcester Public Library announced that they are inviting people to design a bookmark. The contest, in honor of National Library Card Sign-up Month, will have four winners.

The contest will run in September, and entries must be received before September 30.

Bookmark designs can include original computer-generated or digitally generated submissions, as well as paper art created with pencil, pen, paint, and markers. However, AI entries will not be considered.

The four winners will be divided into different age groups: kids (0 to 7 years old), tweens (8 to 12 years old), teens (13 to 17 years old) and adults (18 years or older).

Three finalists in each category will be announced on Oct. 10, and then it will be up to the public to decide who the winners are.

The winners will be announced sometime after Oct. 31., and the bookmarks with those new designs will debut in the winter.
