CarMax Reevaluating Plans For Car Auction Site: Report
Plans to develop an area of land off Route 20 appear to be shelved for now, according to a report from the Telegram & Gazette.
WORCESTER, MA - CarMax Auto Superstores appears to have backed out of a plan to redevelop land off Route 20 to a car auction site, according to the Telegram & Gazette.
The site would hold up to two indoor auctions a week where up to 500 vehicles could be sold. Several Worcester politicians expressed concern that the project would exacerbate traffic issues along the highway.
