Early Voting Starts In Worcester: What To Know
Get a jump start on your civic duty starting Saturday with seven days of early voting in Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA — A seven-day early voting period kicks off in Worcester on Saturday, offering local voters the chance to pick candidates before Election Day on Nov. 7.
Voters in Worcester have already been casting ballots thanks to mail-in voting. The Worcester City Clerk's office said about 8,000 voters have requested mail-in ballots and 3,200 have been returned — the largest mail-in voting turnout since the practice began in 2020 in city history.
All early voting will take place at the main Worcester Public Library branch at 3 Salem Square in the Saxe Room. Voters can have their parking validated for spots in the surface lot behind the library. Here are the times for each day:

- Oct. 28 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 29 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 30 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Oct. 31, Halloween — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nov. 1 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Nov. 2 — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Nov. 3 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Make sure you're registered to vote before you head to the polls. The last day to register is Saturday.
The Worcester municipal election in 2023 will be historic. There's a competitive race in each council district, plus five mayoral candidates and 11 at-large council candidates vying for six seats all held by incumbents who are seeking reelection. This is also the first year Worcester School Committee seats will be elected from districts across the city.
