GoFundMe Campaign: Funds For Family Of Murdered Teen

A fundraiser has been set up for the family of Sidney Krow, Jr., who was shot and killed in the street on May 26.

WORCESTER, MA—A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed last weekend, the first homicide in Worcester of the year.

Sidney Krow Jr. was found in the street after police were called to a scene late in the evening on Saturday, May 26. He had been shot and lie suffering in the road by 1232 Main St., with four males running from the scene.

Krow died at the hospital less than an hour later.

Friends and family have started crowdsourcing to raise money for Krow's funeral and other expenses.
Sidney was a bright and intelligent kid who always had a smile on his face," says the GoFundMe statement.

"He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and positive attitude. Even though he was taken from us early he will live on forever in our memories. To honor his memory we are asking for donations to cover his funeral expenses. For those of you who wish to donate, we appreciate anything you have to offer."

Of the $15,000 goal, $3,500 has been raised so far.
