I-190 Lane Closures In Worcester All Week During Construction: MassDOT

The work will be taking place near the Gold Star Boulevard-area exit ramps, officials said.

WORCESTER, MA — I-190 drivers in Worcester should watch for slowdowns this week due to lane closures for milling work.

MassDOT crews Monday began milling a section of the freeway where it crosses Providence & Worcester Railroad line near Gold Star Boulevard. The work will continue each night from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. through Friday morning.

"Intermittent lane closures on I-190 NB and ramp closures at exit 1 (Route 12)," MassDOT described in a tweet on Monday.
