Man Charged After Trying To Break Into Worcester Home, Police Say

The homeowner told police that they heard loud bangs in the middle of the night, and saw a man trying to break down one of their doors.

WORCESTER, MA — A Worcester man is facing charges after police said he attempted to break into a home in the early morning hours of Tuesday.

Brandon Hensley, 50, was accused of breaking into a home on Tiffany Avenue in Worcester at around 1:40 a.m. The homeowner told officers that they heard loud bangs in the middle of the night, and saw a man trying to break down one of their doors, police said.

Hensley was charged with breaking-and-entering and with an outstanding warrant.

The Worcester Police Department said it appears this was an isolated event and that there have been no other reports of attempted break-ins in that area.
