Marsh McLennan Agency gives vital charitable support to VNA Care

Marsh McLennan Agency continues to invest in the health and wellbeing of Worcester area residents as the Presenting Sponsor of Celebration of Caring, the annual fall benefit for VNA Care, a nonprofit visiting nurse association.

Funds raised by Celebration of Caring, to be held 6 to 8 pm Sept. 26 at the Worcester Art Museum, will be dedicated to furthering VNA Care’s home health and end-of-life services provided in Worcester and throughout Central Massachusetts as well as at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.

The nonprofit’s home health care services enable people to manage complex and chronic health conditions, recover safely at home after a surgery or hospitalization, and achieve their optimal health while remaining independent in the community. Individuals and loved ones facing a terminal diagnosis can rely on VNA Care’s hospice team for comprehensive care throughout the end-of-life journey, including pain and symptom management and grief support before and after a family’s loss. VNA Care provides hospice in patients’ homes, assisted living and other facilities, and at VNA Care’s Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

“Our visiting nurses bring hope and comfort to local residents facing a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
