Polar Park Opening For Red Sox-Astros ALCS Game

WORCESTER, MA — The Boston Red Sox will face off against the Houston Astros Friday night in game one of the American League Championship Series, but you won't have to travel to Texas to watch the game in a stadium.

The Worcester Red Sox will open Polar Park to baseball fans Friday evening for a watch party. The game will be playing on the stadium's big screen, and on TVs in the DCU Club, according to the team.

This is the second time Polar Park has opened for a Red Sox playoff game. Fans were able to watch the one-game wild card match against the Yankees last week.

The Astros and Red Sox have games on Saturday and Monday, when the Red Sox will return to Fenway.

Gates at Polar Park, 100 Madison St., open at 6:30 p.m. Friday ahead of the first pitch near 8 p.m.
