Beloved Pretzel Chain Eyes Expansion With Second Worcester Location

It would be the chain's fourth store in Massachusetts.

WORCESTER, MA — A popular bakery chain is seeking a second location in the city.

Wetzel's Pretzels, known for its fresh-baked soft pretzels, filed a request for a Common Victualer license to be decided at a License Commission meeting on Thursday. The chain is proposing a location at 25 Tobias Boland Way, the current site of a Walmart Supercenter.

Wetzel's Pretzels told Patch that the store would open in the fall of 2026.
