Car Sought In Hope Cemetery Body Investigation

Worcester investigators are now looking to identify a car in relation to their investigation of a death in Hope Cemetery.

WORCESTER, MA—In the continuing investigation into a suspicious death in which a body was found in a burning car at a cemetery, police are now asking the public's help in identifying a vehicle of interest.

Yesterday, Worcester police issued an alert to the public urging anyone who was in the area of Hope Cemetery on Tuesday, Dec. 12, between the hours of 8:15-9 a.m., who may have seen a pedestrian being picked up by another motor vehicle either inside or outside of the cemetery to call.

Now, detectives are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen a 2004 red/maroon Buick LeSabre (pictured) in the Worcester area any time between Monday night and Tuesday morning. On Tuesday morning the vehicle may have been driven with all its windows down, including in the area of Hope Cemetery, said police.
