3 Kids Caught With Unlicensed Gun: Worcester PD

Officers said they found the juveniles with the firearm around 4 a.m.

WORCESTER, MA — Three juveniles are facing multiple charges after carrying a firearm without a license, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire from ShotSpotter, a gunshot detection system, on Hudson St at around 4 a.m. on Friday. Police said they found three kids inside a car and a cross-body bag containing a firearm.

No one inside the vehicle said the firearm was theirs, so all three were placed under arrest, according to police.

They were charged with charged with Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Possession a Firearm Without an FID card and Possession of Ammunition Without an FID card.
