MILLBURY, MA — Area drivers will be in for some delays this weekend near a busy exit off Route 146.

Starting Friday at 9 p.m., MassDOT will begin making repairs along a bridge that crosses railroad tracks near the exit to North Main Street — and the Shoppes At Blackstone Valley Plaza.

Through 5 a.m. Monday, a single lane will be closed along the northbound and southbound sides of the freeway where it crosses Providence and Worcester Railroad tracks.

The work will also be weather-dependent. The forecast calls for a high chance of rain all day Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
