Woman Dies In Worcester Domestic Violence Stabbing: Police

WORCESTER, MA — A woman was killed in a likely domestic violence stabbing Wednesday night in the Main South area, according to Worcester police.

Police went to a home along Douglas Street around 5 p.m. Wednesday and found a woman with stab wounds. She died after being transported to a Worcester hospital.

Worcester police arrested a man at the scene, and his identity was not revealed "due to the domestic nature" of the homicide.

This is the second homicide in Worcester of 2024, and the second this week. A 17-year-old died early Monday morning after a shooting in the Union Hill area. Police did not immediately announce any arrested in connection to that killing.
