WORCESTER, MA — Voters interested in the candidates competing to represent Worcester City Council District 1 will get a chance to get to know them at a Tuesday forum.

During the forum, candidates Jenny Pacillo, Larry Shetler and David Peterson will meet for the first and only time ahead of the Sept. 5 preliminary — an election that will pare down the District 1 field to two candidates.

Former city councilor Gary Rosen organized Tuesday's forum. Rosen convened a similar event last week featuring the three District 5 council candidates. That forum featured a section where the candidates got to ask each other questions, leading to some pointed interactions.
