Worcester Library Branches Switch Hours For Summer 2023
Four library branches will add new hours this summer following the last day of school.
WORCESTER, MA — Four Worcester Public Library branches began new summer hours Wednesday, expanding service during weekdays while local students are on summer break.
The hours at four branches will expand, although each branch will lose Saturday hours. Hours at the main library downtown and the Frances Perkins and Great Brook Valley branches won't change this summer.

All WPL branches will be closed on July 4 and for Labor Day on Sept. 2 and Sept. 4. Only the main downtown branch is ever open on Sunday, typically between October and April.
