Closet Creep: Worcester Woman Comes Home To Find Man In Her Apartment
She came home to a broken door and a man hiding in her closet. He was arrested based on a photo she took.
WORCESTER, MA — A local man was arrested over the weekend after police tied him to a break-in where he was photographed hiding in a woman's closet.
According to Worcester police, a woman came home to her Millbury Street apartment Saturday around 10 a.m. to find her door broken. When she went inside, she found a man in her closet.
"She was able to take a picture of the male before he fled," Worcester police said in a news release.

Officers across the department were given a copy of the photo. Hours later on Saturday afternoon, an officer saw a man wearing the same clothes from the photo walking near Vernon Street. Police arrested the 34-year-old on charges of breaking and entering to commit a misdemeanor, vandalism and trespassing.
