Worcester Man Helps Save Drowning Boy At North Brookfield Beach
A 20-year-old from Worcester performed CPR on a 4-year-old boy pulled from Lake Lashaway on Sunday.
WORCESTER, MA — Heroic actions from a trio of strangers almost certainly saved the life of a four-year-old boy who nearly drowned at the town beach in North Brookfield.
Tyrell Stevenson started CPR right on the dock. “I learned it from my mom,” said the 20-year-old from Worcester.
Jessica Roy hopped off a friend’s pontoon boat to take over and revive the child. “Strong heartbeat, breathing coming back,” recalled Roy. “It was quite a relief.”
