Worcester Olympic Sensation Visits Home
Stephen Nedoroscik, Worcester-born Olympian, visited Bay State Bank earlier this week.

WORCESTER, MA - You may remember him as the viral pommel horse specialist. Or perhaps from his run on "Dancing With The Stars."
Regardless, most Worcester residents are familiar with the name Stephen Nedoroscik.
He gained widespread attention for his performances in the 2024 Summer Olympics in the pommel horse category. Shortly after he won the bronze medal in that event, he made a deep run in the hit show "Dancing With The Stars," eventually placing fourth. He and his partner, professional dancer Rylee Arnold, performed to hit song like "Don't Stop Me Now," "I Ran (So Far Away)" and "Viva La Vida."

But recently, Nedoroscik took a break from the spotlight and visited his hometown. His mother works at the Bay State Savings Bank so he decided to drop in for a photo-op.
"Stephen's kindness, talent and hometown pride remind us why we love being a part of this community," the bank wrote on Facebook. "Let's keep cheering him on as he continues to shine on the dance floor and in the world of gymnastics."
