Worcester Restaurant Damaged By Fire Set To Reopen

The eatery was officially open for about a week before it was forced to close.

WORCESTER, MA — A brand-new restaurant in Worcester that was forced to close after a September fire is on schedule to reopen.

Vivienne Coastal Mediterranean, the eatery that opened in the city's Glass Tower, is set to reopen its doors in March, the restaurant announced on Wednesday.

This comes after a small electrical fire occurred at the restaurant at 446 Main St. in its first week of official operation. Michael Covino, president of Niche Hospitality Group, which owns Vivienne, said that the restorations are coming along nicely.
