Worcester Woman Charged After Being Caught With Cocaine, Heroin

She also had 19 Gabapentin pills on her person.

WORCESTER, MA — A woman in Worcester is facing charges after being caught with drugs, like cocaine and heroin.

Charlene Brooks, 37, was charged after police found nine baggies of cocaine, a bag of heroin and 19 Gabapentin pills on her person, according to the Worcester Police Department.

Officers were responding to reports of a disturbance and possible drug use at a McDonald's on Main Street on Friday morning. They identified Brooks and an unknown male, who consented to a search.

Officers found the baggies of drugs. They were packaged in small individual quantities, which is consistent with distribution, according to the Worcester police.

The man was free to go, and Brooks was charged with Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Substance (Crack Cocaine) and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Substance (Gabapentin).
