WORCESTER, MA — It's a cool Monday and the rest of the week is looking just as temperate, with things warming up into the 80s on Friday. It might be a good week to break out the fire pits and s'mores as temperatures are expected to drop into the 60s at night all week. Don't let the clouds fool you, it should stay dry.
It's primary election week and the Kennedy-Markey race for U.S. Senate has been heating up — but an ad that ran in the Worcester Telegram on Sunday threw some water on that heat. An ad supporting Kennedy paid for by the IBEW Local 103 union (based in Boston) spelled the hometown name "Worchester."
"For U.S. Senate. For Massachusetts. For Worchester," the ad said. It's unclear who made the massive Massachusetts-specific typo.
