1 Killed In Truck Explosion At Michigan Air Show: Report

The truck was racing two airplanes at the Field of Flight air show in Battle Creek when it was engulfed in flames, according to WWMT TV.

BATTLE CREEK, MI — One person was killed Saturday after a jet truck exploded at the Field of Flight air show in Battle Creek, according to a report from WWMT TV.

The jet truck was racing two airplanes and reached speeds of up to 300 mph when it exploded, witnesses told the TV station.

Video on the station's website shows the truck reaching high speeds before being engulfed in flames as its parachute releases.
