2 MI Beaches Closed, Under Contamination Advisory Due To High Bacteria Levels

MICHIGAN — Two Michigan beaches are closed or under a contamination advisory this weekend due to high bacteria levels across the state.

The beaches are closed as forecasters expect great beach weather with temperatures reaching mid 80s and sunny skies on Sunday, which is Father's Day.

Here are the beaches that were closed or under a contamination advisory as of Friday afternoon:

• Four Mile Beach, Chippewa County - contamination advisory since June 11 due to high bacteria levels from an unknown source.
• Harbor Towne Beach, Muskegon County - CLOSED since June 12 due to high bacteria levels from an unknown source.
