"Whomever did it, Crystal Downs has fairways that zigzag and rumble over the glacial landscape and greens that have doglegs in them," according to Golf Digest.
No. 20 Oakland Hills Country Club's South Course, Bloomfield Township
The South Course reopened in 2021 after a restoration project by Gil Hanse. It hosted the U.S. Junior Amateur in 2024 and is scheduled to host the 2034 and 2051 U.S. Opens, as well as other USGA championships.
Arcadia Bluffs was on the last Golf Digest list, but did not make the cut this time around.
