2 MI Golf Destinations Are Among The Best In The Nation: List

MICHIGAN — Two Michigan golf destinations are among the best in the nation, according to USA Today readers.

Boyne Golf came in at No. 1 and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan checked in at No. 5 for USA Today's 10Best golf resort destinations in the nation.

Boyne Golf, which is located in located along the Little Traverse Bay in Petoskey, has 11 courses and three resort properties including Bay Harbor Golf Club.

The outlet also praised multiple golf courses in the Upper Peninsula. They noted several courses in the Upper Peninsula, including Greywalls at Marquette Golf Club and the Sweetgrass Golf Club.

"With rugged forests, rolling terrain, and views of both Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, the Upper Peninsula is a unique golfing location," USA Today wrote.
