3 Hurt In MI Helicopter Crash: Reports

CASEVILLE, MI — Three people were injured after a helicopter crashed in the Thumb region over the weekend, according to multiple reports.

The crash happened at 11 a.m. Saturday near Caseville. Officials said the Bell Jet Ranger helicopter was landing on private property when it rolled onto its side.

One person was taken to a nearby hospital while two others suffered minor injuries in the crash, ABC 12 reported.

The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the cause of the crash.
