6 Hurt In MI Amish Buggy Crash: Sheriff
Officials said a drunken driver smashed into the back of the horse-drawn buggy.
VAN BUREN COUNTY, MI — Six people were injured in a crash involving an Amish buggy in southwest Michigan last week, according to sheriff's officials.
The crash happened at 8 p.m. Friday in Bloomingdale Township, which is roughly 10 miles west of Kalamazoo, according to sheriff's officials.
Officials said the horse-drawn buggy was carrying six people and moving along County Road 388 when it was struck from behind by a speeding SUV.

All six people in the horse-drawn buggy were injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital, according to sheriff's officials.
One person suffered severe injuries and the other five suffered obvious injuries, according to sheriff's officials.
