Deer Hunting Season: Baiting, Feeding Still Banned In Michigan

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources say they are getting a lot of questions about the baiting & feeding ban. Here's what to know.

MICHIGAN — State officials want you to know, the feeding ban is firmly in place when it comes to deer hunting in Michigan.

They say Michigan's Department of Natural Resources offices have been flooded questions from people confused about the status of the baiting and feeding ban for deer and elk in the Lower Peninsula and the core CWD surveillance area in the Upper Peninsula.

The DNR wants to let all hunters know: the ban has not changed and remains fully in effect.
