Ex. Gov. Rick Snyder's Cell Phone Seized In Flint Water Probe
Authorities are continuing the Flint water investigation by seizing mobile devices from former Gov. Rick Snyder and other officials.
MICHIGAN — The mobile devices of former Gov. Rick Snyder and some 65 other state officials have been seized in an investigation into the Flint Water Crisis, according to reports.
The Associated Press obtained documents through a public records request that reportedly show the search warrants seeking the devices were sought two weeks ago.
WDIV reported that Solicitor General Fadwa Hammoud and Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy executed a series of search warrants related to the criminal investigation of Flint’s lead-contaminated water and a deadly outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease.

They confirmed the search but declined further comment, the report said.
All of the 65 involved are either current or former officials. iPads, hard drives and cell phones were among the devices seized, Michigan Radio reported.
