Google Is Moving To Detroit
Google announced that by Spring 2018 they will have moved their office from Birmingham to Detroit.

DETROIT, MI- The Internet's favorite search engine is moving to it's new home of Detroit right next door from Little Caesar's Arena. The new office space is set to be up and running by Spring 2018 as they move from their office in Birmingham to 29,178 square foot offices at 52 East Henry St.
Danielle Russell and Guy Schueller the co-site leads of the Google office expressed their excitement on a statement Monday morning about moving the offices downtown. “This exciting move by Google is another clear sign that, in The District Detroit, we’re building one of the best and most exciting places to live, work and play in the entire region." They are eager to be part of the new movement of offices to be joining downtown as these businesses work to bring new jobs back into the city, to create a thriving environment of a diverse work force, talented employees with unique skill sets, to help bring back some of the community to Detroit as a great place to work and live.
Google will be one of the first businesses in the district space not to be associated with the Ilitches', or with Dan Gilbert of Quicken Loans, hoping that his will spark an incentive for other tech companies to join these companies to invest in the future of Detroit.
