Here's How Much Snow Fell Across Detroit Area Wednesday: NWS

Some areas across southeastern Michigan saw a half foot of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — A Wednesday snowstorm moved through southeastern Michigan and dumped up to a half foot of snow in some areas, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters were still updating snow totals across the region, but as of 2:30 p.m. here's a look at their reports:

  • Lapeer: 6.5 inches
  • Shelby Township: 6 inches
  • Lake Orion: 5.4 inches
  • Washington: 4.8 inches
  • Royal Oak: 4.5 inches
  • Wixom: 4.5 inches
  • Wolverine Lake: 4.5 inches
  • Waterford: 4.4 inches
  • White Lake: 4.4 inches
  • Grosse Pointe: 4 inches
  • Clinton Township: 4 inches
  • New Baltimore: 4 inches
  • Romulus: 3.6 inches
  • Ann Arbor: 3.6 inches
  • Canton: 3 inches
  • Ypsilanti: 3.1 inches
  • Detroit: 3 inches
  • Sterling Heights: 2.3 inches
  • Howell: 2.1 inches
  • Southfield: 1.9 inches
  • Macomb: 1.5 inches
