JACKSON, MI — The Jackson County Animal Shelter helped two kittens get adopted Monday morning after it turning them into celebrities when it asked someone to adopt the "two-headed cat" Friday afternoon.

"Adopt this 2 headed cat and you get a great deal! Only $80!!! Double love," the Facebook post said.

The post garnered a lot of attention with over 2,000 reactions and nearly 2,000 comments, with some believing the kitten had two heads. Others attacked the believers and the post itself, saying the shelter should clarify that there's actually two kittens laying on top of each other.

"I thought it would be funny to post them as one since they are always so close to each other," Sattler said. "I figured it would spark conversation, but did not expect the amount of reactions it received! I am glad it made some people laugh!"
