A Michigan university has one of the most beautiful college campuses in the nation, according to a popular travel magazine.
MICHIGAN — A Michigan university has one of the most beautiful college campuses in the nation, according to a popular travel magazine.
The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor was ranked No. 28 in Travel + Leisure's 30 Most Beautiful College Campuses in the U.S.
"Inspired by Oxford and Cambridge universities, many of the school's early buildings were constructed in a Tudor Gothic style," the magazine wrote.

The magazine highlighted picturesque spots, such as the Law Quad's striking stone buildings, the Michigan League with its decorative fountain and the Hatcher Graduate Library, which features classical-inspired pilasters and carved stone medallions.
Roughly 34,000 undergraduate students are attending the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor with another 18,000 graduate students. Nearly half of undergraduates are out-of-state students.

Stanford University in California earned the top spot. Next was Berry College in Georgia, followed by Notre Dame in Indiana, Florida Southern College and Bard College in New York to round out the top five.
