MI Gas Prices Up Ahead Of Memorial Day Travel: AAA

AAA believes roughly 1.2 million Michiganders will travel by car during the Memorial Day weekend.

MICHIGAN — Michigan gas prices were up 12 cents as Memorial Day travel approaches, according to AAA.

The price for a regular gallon of gas in Michigan was $3.18 Monday morning, up 12 cents from last week but still 38 cents less than this time last year, according to AAA.

Gas prices in the metro Detroit area were $3.11, up just two cents from last week, but still 46 cents less than this same time last year, according to AAA.
