MI Gas Prices Slighty Fall After Hitting 2025 High: AAA

MICHIGAN — Gas prices across Michigan slightly fell Monday from their 2025 high over the weekend, according to AAA.
The average price of a regular gallon of gas across Michigan was $3.17 Monday, down two cents from its 2025 high over the weekend, according to AAA.
The average is 14 cents higher than last week, but still 41 cents less than a year ago, according to AAA.

The average for regular gas in the Detroit area was $3.12, up eight cents from last week but still 44 cents less than this time last year, according to AAA.
"Michigan motorists are seeing higher pump prices, with the state average setting a new 2025-high," AAA spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said.
The most expensive gas price averages in Jackson ($3.24), Grand Rapids ($3.23) and Ann Arbor ($3.21), according to AAA.
The least expensive gas price averages are in Traverse City ($2.95), Marquette ($3.10) and Metro Detroit ($3.12), according to AAA.
