While at the hospital, she told police about a history of domestic violence, according to police.
She then died a few days later at the hospital, according to police.
Shortly after his wife's passing, Bromley tried to enter the morgue by posing as a trooper but was denied access, according to police.
After a lengthy investigation, another warrant was issued last month out of Otsego County, according to police.
Bromley was arrested in Oakland County during a traffic stop for speeding on Feb. 9, according to police.
He was charged with one count of aggravated domestic violence and first-degree vulnerable adult abuse. He was placed in the Otsego County Jail and given a $50,000 bond.
He faces additional charges in Grand Traverse County for impersonating an officer.
