MICHIGAN — A Cass County man sprang out of bed after hearing the store where he bought his Powerball ticket had sold a $1 million winner, according to lottery officials.
"I woke up the morning after the drawing, and checked the alerts on my phone," 65-year-old Robert Cusumano told lottery officials. "Right there on the screen, was an alert that a $1 million Powerball prize had been won on a ticket bought at Big T."
Cusumano said he jumped out of bed and went hunting for his lottery ticket.
