MICHIGAN — A Michigan lottery player won a $3 million prize playing the Mega Millions, according to officials.

The player matched the five white balls (15-37-38-56-58) with a 3X multiplier in the Friday drawing to win the $3 million prize, according to officials.

Officials said the ticket was bought online at MichiganLottery.com.

The player should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to claim their prize. The ticket must be claimed within one year from the date of the drawing.

"A Michigan Lottery player cashed in on the new Mega Millions game Friday night when they won a $3 million prize with a ticket bought at MichiganLottery.com," said Michigan Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. "The enhanced Mega Millions game will bring players bigger jackpots more often, which will generate sales and have a positive impact on the Lottery’s contribution to the School Aid Fund."
