MI Man Arrested After Shooting Roommate: Sheriff
Officials did not release any details about what led up to the shooting.
MONROE, MI — A man was arrested over the weekend after shooting his roommate in southeastern Michigan, according to sheriff's officials.
The shooting happened at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of West Albain Road in Monroe Township, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
When officers arrived, they found one victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, but the shooter had fled the area, officials said.

Officials quickly identified the shooter as a 52-year-old shooter and arrested him in connection with the shooting, officials said.
He was also suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, officials said.

The 52-year-old man was then placed in the Monroe County Jail as charges were pending, officials said.
Officials said the two are roommates, but did not release any details about what led up to the shooting.
