MI Woman's Car Flips After Striking Dead Cow On Rural Road: Sheriff
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
INGHAM COUNTY, MI — A Michigan woman was injured in a crash after striking a dead cow Alaiedon Township on Monday morning, according to the county sheriff.
Officials said a 66-year-old Mason woman was driving a vehicle on Okemos Road at 6:45 a.m. when she struck the cow near Harper Road. She was not injured in the crash, officials said.
Shortly later, an 81-year-old Holt woman was driving on the southbound side of the road and hit the dead cow, causing her vehicle to rollover on its roof and trapping her inside, officials said.

Officials had to extricate the woman from the vehicle. She was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
The road was closed for an hour for cleanup and the investigation.
