The Michigan departments of Agriculture and Rural Development; Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy; and Natural Resources will be hosting a public comment webinar on the final Adaptive Management Plan on February 7th from 1:00- 2:30 p.m. The adaptive management plan is a companion document for the state's Domestic Action Plan (DAP) which addresses the causes of the harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie.

This webinar will provide an overview of the adaptive management framework developed by the agencies and will highlight how they will act and track progress. This is an opportunity for the public, agency partners, and anyone who wants to know what Michigan is doing to reduce nutrient loading to Lake Erie. To register for the webinar, visit https://bit.ly/3oEq6Lt.

To request a hard copy of the adaptive plan, contact Kimberly Passick at PassickK@michigan.gov or 517-331-8776. For additional information and to view the complete plan online, visit Michigan.gov/LakeErieDAP.
