Missing Lansing Mom Whose Baby Was Found Dead Has Been Arrested

LANSING, MI — The mother who was reported missing out of Lansing last week has been found and arrested, according to reports.

Thirty-five year old Ashley Shade and her week-old daughter were first reported missing last Monday when police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for the pair, saying they were last seen in the area of South Washington Avenue and Holmes Road.

The infant was found dead inside Shade’s vehicle in the area last Tuesday and WDIV reported that Shade had been arrested by Lansing police by Thursday.
