WEXFORD COUNTY, MI — Multiple people have been arrested after officials said a pregnant woman was found dead in a northern Michigan wooded area last week.

Officials confirmed autopsy results show the body found in the Manistee National Forest on Nov. 25 is 22-year-old Rebecca Park, who was 38 weeks pregnant, according to the Wexford County Sheriff's Office.

Officials said the baby was not with the body, and investigators are "working diligently to determine the condition and potential whereabouts of the baby."

Officials did not say if the body had been moved or how long the body appeared to have been deceased. The official cause of death is still pending.

The same night Park’s body was found, officials arrested her fiancé, 43-year-old Richard Lee Falor, and her sister, 21-year-old Kimberly Park, UpNorthLive reported. Kimberly Park was charged with tampering with evidence, lying to a police officer and filing a false report, and Falor was charged with delivering methamphetamine. It was unclear if any of the charges were in connection to Rebecca Park's case.

Both were placed in jail. Falor was given a $1 million bond and Kimberly Park was given a $750,000 bond.

The outlet now reports that Park’s biological mother and stepfather were also arrested, though it's unclear what charges they were facing. They are expected to appear in court Tuesday.

Park was reported missing on Nov. 4, a day after family members told police they saw her get into a vehicle outside a relative's home in the Cadillac area, officials said.

When she first disappeared, Falor told 9and10 News that Park didn't tell anyone who was picking her up, adding that the vehicle had tinted windows, leaving her mother unable to identify the driver.

"Becca told her mom, ‘Hold on. I got somebody to pick me up. This is just something I got to do. I’m sorry,’" Falor told the outlet. "A black sedan pulled up, and she got in. Nobody’s heard from her since."

Wexford County Sheriff Trent Taylor said due to the ongoing investigation, information is "extremely limited."

"We understand the public's desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation," Taylor said.
