Storm Chances Friday, This Weekend Across Detroit Area: What To Know
More storms are possible before another stretch of hot and humid conditions returns to the region.
SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN —More thunderstorms are possible Friday and into the weekend across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.
The best chance for storms Friday will be during the afternoon and evening hours with highs in the 80s under muggy conditions, the weather service said.
More widespread storms are possible Saturday, mostly south of the Interstate 96/Interstate 696 corridor between 2 p.m. and midnight, the weather service said.

Forecasters warned that those storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts.
Another stretch of hot and humid conditions returns to the region Sunday and through the first part of next week with highs in the low 90s, the weather service said.
