Seven years after Toys "R" Us shut its doors, the classic superstore is back in time for the holiday season with two Detroit area locations, according to a news release.
The two standalone seasonal stores are located in at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills and at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, according to the release.
Toys "R" Us plans to open more than 30 new stores, including the two Michigan stores, across the nation this season.

Toys "R" Us closed all its Michigan stores amid bankruptcy in 2018, but the brand survives within all Macy's locations, including 11 in Michigan:
